**About the role**

JFD is looking to recruit a CNC Machinist to work on a permanent basis from our office in Westhill, Aberdeenshire. As a member of the production workforce the Machinist is capable of responding to the setup, machining and de-burring of the company’s products.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the following:

- Set up, run and de-burr components in line with JFD technical drawings insuring no defects and 100% machining accuracy throughout.
- Oversees machinery setup to make sure arrangement is safe and ready to handle its assigned load
- Takes personal responsibility for the quality of work.
- Good housekeeping at all times.

**What do you need?**

We are looking for individuals who have previous experience of working with Mazak or Hass CNC Machines. You should also have completed a recognised apprenticeship of training programme in a technical discipline (or equivalent nationally recognised qualification). You must also have experience of manual lathes and milling machine operations.
