Lanserhof at The Arts Club will be the ultimate medical and longevity facility in London, enabling both members of London’s premier private members club and clients of the Lanserhof Clinic direct access to some of the world’s foremost medical experts and cutting-edge treatments. The medical facility will be led by Lanserhof’s multi-award-winning team of Doctors and health professionals.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an extremely professional, driven, and reliable HCA to ensure a smooth, efficient first class service is delivered at all times. Previous experience working within radiology is advantageous as well as experience as a radiography assistant.
You must demonstrate a caring and supportive manner with a passion for interacting with patients, relatives and colleagues. Excellent communication skills will be crucial in order to provide the highest level of patient care, aligning with the clinical values.
You will have a number of clinical and non-clinical duties to support our services.
Working effectively with a multi
- professional team you will be trained to assist both consultant led procedures, exercise medicine, therapists and support the administration teams.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Provide a warm, polite and courteous greeting to all patients and members
- Has obtained a healthcare qualification, such as BTEC or NVQ & previous experience working as an HCA or carer
- Provide a high quality chaperone service for both medical and club services
- Assist patients in preparation and during imaging procedures, helping them to change, preparing rooms, organising patient list
- Be responsible for entering pre-determined clinical data and such additional, professional observations as may be appropriate onto computer based systems such as the Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Ensuring all patients are treated with the highest standards of care
- Provide support to doctors in consultation and assist with procedures - training provided
- Phlebotomy & cannulation - strong experience and skills required
- Assist the nurses with intravenous cannulation and removal
- Assist radiographers in MRI department - training will be provided
- Take pulses, temperatures, blood pressure, height and weight
- Undertake ECG’s and fit 7 day Holter ECGs to patient
- Be responsible for tracking blood results platforms
- Ensure clinical and non-clinical diaries are checked in order to prepare for the day
- Maintain accurate patient records including recording session notes and uploading of consents and any other correspondence relating to the provision of services
- Ensure treatment and consultation rooms are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness in accordance with company standards
- Liaise with other departments to ensure a smooth journey for all clients maintaining excellent working relationships with all staff
- Undertake weekly clinic stock checks and thorough room checks
- Have a good working knowledge of all services including memberships, packages and prices
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client information at all times
- Record all accidents and incidents according to set protocols
- Carry out departmental risk assessments
- Understand and abide by the Health and Safety and Fire Policies
- Undertake all mandatory and role specific training
- Be fully aware of Lanserhof and The Arts Club history and company vision
- Ensure that the Company Policy, and protocols are adhered to at all times in accordance with CQC regulations
- Carry out any other duties appropriate to this position that are agreed and delegated by your line manager
**REQUIREMENTS**:
Essential
- Must have very strong phlebotomy and cannulation skills
- Evidence of competency in phlebotomy, baseline observations, ECGs.
- A healthcare qualification, such as BTEC or NVQ & previous experience working as an HCA or carer
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, eloquent written and verbal English
- Excellent administration skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Experience of working in the private sector
- Good general Education
- Good timekeeping and prepared to be flexible to meet the needs of the service
- Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Well organised and able to monitor record keeping, leading by example
- Enthusiastic about working in a varied role
- Exemplary communication skills within the interdisciplinary team
- Ability to remain calm when under pressure
- IT Literate
- Keen to develop new skills to meet the demands of a new and growing business
- Must have right to work in UK
