37 Hours Per week. 07:30-15:30

Electronics Inspector required for a well-established global manufacturer who offer long term contracts with the potential to acquire a permanent position. They are well-recognised and supply to a range of industries. The offer a great a team environment,training and progression opportunities.

The role will involve the inspection of electronic equipment to agreed design specifications and quality standards including the first and final inspection of a variety of PCBs, sub-assemblies, modules and units. You will fault find and analyse trends toimplement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of problems. You will also conduct full assessments of products returned by customers for modification and repair.

The role:

- Electronic component inspection to agreed design specifications and quality standards
- First and final inspection of a variety of PCBs, sub-assemblies, modules and units
- Fault finding
- Full assessment of products returned from customers for modification and repair
- Liaising with test engineering and production engineering team

The person:

- Electronics background
- Experience in electronics inspection
- Mechanical assembly skills
- PCB experience
- Basic soldering skills (IPC certified)
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Good PC and writing skills
- Ability to problem solve
- IPC 610 training would be advantageous, although not essential as training will be provided
