Due to this continued growth and success, this role has become available to help with the increase in workloads and to grow the team further.
As the Warehouse Administrator you will work alongside the Warehouse Manager and the Operations/Commercial teams and will need to be well organised, self-motivated and have extensive experience in building industry.
**Description**
Key responsibilities for this Warehouse Administrator role in Peterborough include:
- Raise purchase orders using Simpro job managing software (full training will be given)
- Stock Control
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with any administration tasks required
- Track and coordinate the ordering, receipt, storage and timely delivery of goods.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with planning the warehouse capacity requirements.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with the smooth running of our warehouse
- Ensuring the warehouse is always stocked with the most used items and kept to a manageable level.
- Building strong supplier relations with existing and new suppliers for the supplying of material and plant to meets the businesses needs and requirements.
- Highlighting any information, concerns or problems, which may affect your personal or site performance.
**Skills, experience**:
- Excellent Communication skills, written and verbal.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and general systems.
- Experience within the building industry (preferable but not essential)
- A strong personality
- A full driving licence needed, as some site visits are required.
