With roots dating back nearly two hundred years, this school has evolved into a vibrant hub of learning, surrounded by the beauty of coastal surroundings and rolling countryside.

**The Role**:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Learning Support Assistant with SEN experience to provide targeted support to students with special educational needs. In this role, you will work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to create individualised learning plans and provide one-on-one support to students with a range of learning challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting students with SEN in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school life.
- Implementing tailored intervention strategies to meet the specific needs of individual students.
- Collaborating with teachers and external professionals to monitor student progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
- Creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment where every student feels valued and included.
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supporting students during outdoor activities and playtimes.
- Collaborating with colleagues to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed
- Experience working with students with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or other learning challenges.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, collaborating closely with teaching staff and external professionals.
- Relevant experience or qualifications in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).
- A current DBS is desired or a willingness to obtain one.
