Export Administrator

We need a progressive Shipping & Export Administrator to join our growing team in North Wales, this role is at the heart of communication with our customers all over the world. You will be working for one of the world’s leading manufacturers of super abrasive grinding wheels and tools.

**BASIC SALARY**: £35,000-40,000

**COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS**: Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Conwy, Wrexham, Oswestry, Bangor

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Shipping & Export Administrator / Industrial Consumables / Aerospace
- A more detailed brief will be made available to those who are shortlisted but in summary, you will be:

- Processing quotes and orders, liaising both internally and externally with goods being dispatched and received.
- Liaising with couriers, suppliers, customers and all UK sites including regular contact with the parent company in the USA.
- Monitor shipping company’s processes ensuring custom procedures are being adhered to.
- Liaise with HMRC on customs issues, procedures, and authorisations and advise of any changes accordingly.
- Submit bills of discharge monthly to the HMRC.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Shipping & Export Administrator - Industrial Consumables
- Experience of working within an import/export role with the ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of shipping and compliance both in the EU and ROW.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders of all levels.

Either way you will be a self-starter who is happy working on their own initiative. This is a high responsibility role which will require you to advise all sites of goods coming in while keeping up to date with contracts for all of the major courier services.
