Ect Primary Teacher

A school in Knowsley are currently seeking to employ a **Qualified Primary Teacher** to work at a welcoming and supportive school in the area. They are ideally looking to employ a KS2 Teacher for the rest of the academic year.

**This role will include various tasks such as**:

- Planning and delivering of engaging lessons.
- Being willing and able to work with EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pupils, managing behaviour in line with school policies.
- Delivering engaging and interesting lessons in line with the current National Curriculum
- Ensuring all marking is completed and hand over notes are left.
- Engaging with the pupils and keeping them on task, assisting with queries where possible.
- Dealing with any immediate issues or emergencies according to the school policies and procedures.
- Assessing pupil progress

**Applicant requirements**:

- All applicants will be required to hold an enhanced DBS disclosure registered with the online update service or be willing to purchase a new one.
- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who has high expectations of children and their learning.
- Has knowledge of effective strategies to raise attainment and progress & can work well as part of a team.
- Is creative and constantly looking for ways to engage and inspire children.
- Has good organisational and classroom management skills.

**Details of the role**:

- This role commences as soon a suitable applicant is recruited.
- This role is full time, Mon - Fri but a part-time option will be considered for other positions.
