Spa Receptionist

A Spa Receptionist position has become available at The Cliff Hotel & Spa. The Spa and its facilities are consistently in great demand from hotel guests as well as external clients booking treatments, Spa packages etc.
Main responsibilities include the taking of spa bookings over the telephone, via the internet and in person, maintaining Health & Safety standards and the hygiene of pool and spa facilities. Also, welcoming guests to the spa and ensure the smooth running of their visits as well as seeking opportunities for sales promotions. The Spa Receptionist will also be expected to help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for guests to maximise their enjoyment of the facilities.
An interest in health and beauty treatments would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided to ensure that the person appointed can respond effectively and accurately to enquiries. Training will also be provided on the electronic booking system and all other aspects of the role.
If full-time, the post involves working on average 24 - 32 hours a week over 3 - 4 days (Monday - Sunday) to include morning/afternoon and afternoon/evening shifts. All shifts are as per the rota published by the Spa Manager.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable. Self-motivation and the ability to work well as part of a team is essential. Access to transport would also be advantageous.
