Bakery Assistant

**Key Requirements**

Level 2 food Safety and Hygiene certificate (essential)

Experience with from-scratch cake baking and decorating in a commercial kitchen

Ability to commute to work and occasional weekend availability

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote brand awareness.
- Maintain strictest level of confidentiality with regards to signature recipes
- Deliver excellent customer service to create brand loyalty.
- Provide information to customers in a polite, friendly and consistent manner.
- Looking professional and well-presented.
- Understanding the importance of food safety and managing to strict hygiene standards.
- Working well under pressure and without constant supervision.
- Knowing all about the products we sell and being ready to explain them to customers.
- Being a great communicator - talking with customers and taking time to understand what they need.
- Being sincere and positive at all times.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £8.00-£10.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hockley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Baking in commercial kitchen (preferred)
