Hotel Receptionist

We are looking for full time receptionist to work at The Angel & Royal Hotel in Grantham. Previous and relevant experience essential. Some previous knowledge of PMS systems would be advantageous but not essential. You will need to be very organised, computer literate and focused on the jobs required during your shifts.

You are the first person our guests see on entering the Hotel and it is important that the first impression they get of you is friendly, efficient, professional and indicative of our values of good old fashioned service with a smile.

We value experience, so please do not feel that you are too old for this position either. Our guests are a mixture of corporate and private and from all walks of life, so having great social skills is necessary also.

Full training will be given but you will need to be computer literate as a lot of the work involves accessing and using the computer and our property management system.

This job is shift work. You will either be working from 7am
- 3pm or 3pm-11pm. You will be expected to take your share of the weekends and will always receive 2 days off together and 5 days on.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Check guests in and out of the hotel
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

**Salary**: £7.80-£10.42 per hour
