We have an opportunity to develop a role within our small but expanding team. We are a family owned chilled food manufacturing & wholesale business. Reporting to our Technical Manager we want a positive can-do person to run our day to day HACCP and Quality Systems. Experience in chilled food manufacture and or knowledge of food safety systems would be an advantage, relevant qualifications are not necessarily required as full training and support would be given. You must be organised, systematic, have excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Currently SALSA accredited, we are working towards BRC standard and want you to help us develop and achieve our goals.

**Responsibilities**:
Day to Day running of our Quality & Procedure System Management

Weekly auditing of our production paperwork

Responsibility for food labelling and allergens

Updating product specifications

Maintain Supplier and Services Audit Schedule

Maintain calibration records for workplace fridges and freezers and delivery vehicles

Collecting laboratory samples and monitoring results

Carrying out quality checks and CCP verification / validation audits

Product recalls and reporting

Investigating complaints to ensure they are resolved to a satisfactory conclusion - to work with the team to reduce complaints while maintaining both internal and external relationships.

Other ad hoc office duties including answering phones, taking orders, scanning, and filing.

**Hours**

The role is 40 hours a week Monday to Friday with a degree of flexibility on start/ finish times on a daily weekly basis. (We are open 5am-4pm)

We would consider 32 hours over 4 or 5 days.

We are office based.
