**About the opportunity**:
The Box Encapsulation Plant project is one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site, the plant will play a vital role in Sellafield’s 100-year clean-up programme by taking nuclear waste recovered from the sites original waste plants and encasing it in concrete so it can be stored in a modern building. The plant is primarily designed to deal with waste from the Magnox Swarf Storage Silo, one of four legacy waste plants prioritised for clean-up by Sellafield Ltd’s owner, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). Alongside that work, the plant will also receive certain wastes from the other three legacy waste stores, the First Generation Magnox Storage Pond, the Pile Fuel Storage Pond, and Pile Fuel Cladding Silo.

For our site team at Sellafield we are seeking a QA/ QC Technical Clerk.

You will report to the Site Construction QA QC Mgr.

**Some of your duties**:

- Liaise with QA to ensure that all snags are up to date within the master snag tracker.
- Understand and implement the processes necessary for the provision of timely appropriate Quality support to other BEP Delivery Team departments.
- Assist with Surveillances of the BEP site activities and sub-contractor operations on site, and off site as directed, in accordance with the Project Audit Schedule.
- Ensure the quality standards of the BEP Project are consistently met, raising the authorised project documentation where this is not the case.
- Assisting preparation of CWP & LTR dossiers
- Promotion and implementation of the Project Quality Management System and Joint venture process
Compile evidence and progress for input into LFE

**Here’s what you’ll need**:

- Experience of working within a team culture and JV environment.
- Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office needed, experience of SharePoint desirable.
- Experience of working within the Nuclear sector, experience with Sellafield Ltd an advantage.
