IMO Precision Controls Ltd based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Credit
Controller. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role is to ensure prompt payment against invoices issued by the company for goods supplied under the agreed payment terms. Applicants need to have experience and be able to demonstrate their ability during interview.

THE CANDIDATE:
Services and Sales Departments as well as within the Accounts team.

The role requires the applicant to be fluent in English (both written and verbal). Excellent numeracy and accuracy are expected along with strong communication skills and an amicable manner. Computer literacy and especially an excellent command of Excel spreadsheets is required.

CREDIT CONTROL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

- Releasing of goods based on terms and the status of the customer account.
- Keeping bad debts under control and taking corrective action should a should a negative situation arise.
- Keeping debts in excess of 30 days overdue under 2% in line with company's KPI's.
- Liaising with solicitors regarding any legal action that may arise and follow up until resolution.
- Preparing schedule of cash posting and keeping customer accounts up to date enabling releases.
- Dealing with and resolving queries in a timely manner using our dedicated query management system.
- Customer account set-up to ensure compliance with regulations together with account maintenance ensuring all aspects of the customer’s account are always up to date.
- Discussion and cooperation with the department Manager, Area Sales Managers and with other departments both in the UK and overseas.
- Providing reports to the Management Team and Auditors when required/requested.
- Keeping up with all IT advancements relevant to the role to ensure the most efficient method of carrying out tasks.
- Accurate maintenance of filing and record keeping.
- Providing cover for colleagues in the Finance Team during absences.
- Any other additional ad-hoc duties as may be deemed necessary.

Working Hours: Full time Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.30pm

Location: Hatfield with free on-site parking

**Benefits**:

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Experienced Credit Controller, quick and efficient in their role.
