Accountancy Apprentice Trainer

**Main Responsibilities**:
As an Accounting and Apprenticeship Trainer, your role is pivotal in guiding a diverse group of commercially funded students and direct apprentices through their accounting qualification journey (Level 2 to Level 4).
**In your role you will be**:
- Delivering high-quality training in the classroom or online for specific Accounting or Payroll Apprenticeship Standards up to Level 4.
- Staying informed on current developments in the accountancy field through continuous professional development (CPD).
- Assessing and supporting learners towards the successful completion of their qualification, including preparation for the End Point Assessment.
- Efficiently managing your diary for timely classroom sessions.
- Providing support, advice, and motivation to learners while adapting delivery to meet individual needs.
- Recording learner progress using the e-portfolio system.
- Promoting Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, British Values, Prevent, and Health and Safety in all learning sessions.
- Communicating learner issues or concerns to your line manager and designated Safeguarding Officer.
**Required Skills and Personal Qualities**:
- Essential:_
- Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, CIMA, ACCA, Degree, etc.).
- Recognized Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLs or equivalent).
- Strong IT capability.
- Ability to create and implement high-quality learning resources.
- Exceptional organizational skills and effective time management.
- Quality-driven mindset with a commitment to learner success.
- Excellent communication skills, learner-focused, and quality-oriented.
- Ability to collaborate with others and contribute to targets.
- Work under pressure, manage time effectively, and work independently.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Desirable:_
- Relevant occupational competence within an accountancy environment.
- Experience working to KPIs.
- Apprenticeship Trainer or Tutor qualification.
- Experience delivering Apprenticeship qualifications, including Functional Skills.
- Experience in AAT/Payroll curriculum design.
- Knowledge of AAT/Payroll apprenticeship qualifications and EPA process.
- Full driver's license and access to own vehicle.
