**Raw Material Buyer
Biggleswade**

**Commutable from St Neots, Luton, Bedford, Royston, Biggleswade, Letchworth**

**Monday-Thursday 8:30 - 17:00 and Friday 8:30 - 16:30**

**Salary - £35,000**

**My client is a leading supplier of ingredients and flavoring into the hospitality sectors. They are currently going from strength to strength and for this reason a vacancy has come available in the buying department**

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Working with the current supplier base to negotiate prices and consolidate the supply list for simpler operation
- Using market knowledge to identify and source new suppliers
- Working with the technical department to source for development projects
- Buying dry ingredients
- Working alongside the purchasing department

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- Have a 2 years' experience buying within a food environment
- Must have worked in building service consultancy previously
- CIPS would be beneficial however the client has offered to sponsor this qualification
- Sage and Sap experience
