Playworker for After School Club

Playworkers required due to the expansion of our popular out of school clubs. Fixed hours 3pm-6pm term time with extra hours available if required. We also run a full time holiday club with hours available during the school holidays as well. We are located across 4 different sites (all local to Fishponds/ Downend) so access to transport would be recommended.

Main duties

Ensure and be responsible for the safety and care of the children including collecting them from school and whilst in our care.

Ensure safeguarding procedures are adhered to

To plan, prepare and deliver interesting and engaging outdoor educational games and activities.

Organising and maintaining our outside spaces over our four sites ensuring they are clean, tidy and safe to use.

Be responsible for maintaining Health and Safety procedures as well as enforcing and implementing club policies and procedures.

Undertake appropriate and relevant training as required.

A playwork qualification is preferred but early years qualifications and relevant experience will be taken in to consideration, as will an enthusiastic outlook.

Expected hours: 9 - 20 per week

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
