Quality Inspector

**UTS Engineering are industry leaders in the water, gas and oil industry, providing bespoke products and specialist services for over 20 years. An exciting opportunity has arisen to expand our Quality Assurance Department. We are looking for someone who has experience working in manufacturing.**

The Role
- Working within Quality team, you'll be responsible for the conducting inspection throughout the product life-cycle against approved drawings and standards, ranging from goods inward through to final inspection.
- You’ll be responsible for Identifying and recording non-conformance during the manufacturing processes.
- You’ll be responsible for Identifying and record risks to the processes.
- You’ll be working as part of a team to improve & report current operations.
- You’ll be responsible for Conformance to all site quality systems requirements.
- You’ll be responsible for Conformance to all site Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
- You’ll participation in site improvement projects as and where required.
- Understanding & Experience of working to ISO 9001.
- Experience of a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to map and document processes and standard operating procedures.
- Knowledge and use of quality management systems and process improvement tools.
- Strong decision making skill and the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
