Deli Kitchen Assistant

**Qualifications & skills**:

- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in busy kitchens/catering (e.g commis chef, chef de partie or similar role)
- Enjoy being part of a team but is also able to self-manage
- Work using own initiative
- Effective time management and organisation skills
- Understanding food hygiene and maintaining a clean and tidy environment (preferably hold a food hygiene certificate, minimum level 2)

**Key responsibilities**:

- Organise and lead the preparation and presentation of deli food service (i.e deli-style sandwiches, paninis, wraps, breakfast rolls)
- Prepare food neatly, accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and order accordingly
- Adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation and clean up
- >Must be able to provide two recent references._

Competitive salary: above Real Living Wage (starting from £10.90ph) + depending on experience.
