**Binnies** an **RSK Group Company** is recruiting an Accounting Associate to join our Finance team to support our expanding workload within the water industry. Our team consults, delivers and manages projects in the water industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- To assist the Accounting function with accounts tasks as required, to ensure accurate & timely records.
- Responsible for the preparation and entry of routine general ledger journal entries and miscellaneous cost transactions
- Daily bank reconciliations, dealing with sterling, and multiple currency bank accounts
- Reconciling other assigned accounts and identifying reconciling items
- Maintaining cash flow spreadsheet to be kept up to date with payments
- Raising inter-company and adhoc sales invoices
- Month end duties to meet strict deadlines
- Dealing with multiple currency databases
- Timesheet approval and support
- To ensure maximum flexibility and to reflect the company's evolving needs, you may be asked to support the Finance team and perform additional tasks that may be reasonably expected within your level of capability as required.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- GCSE ‘s: Grades A - C
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook experience
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to analyse and interpret
- Team player
- Can show initiative
- Self-motivated
- Approachable
- Ability to work to tight deadlines

**Desirable**:

- Desire to study AAT or similar accounting qualification - which the company will support.
- Prior Accounts Experience or Similar
