Immediate start for Purchase Ledger Assistant in Knaresborough near Harrogate. 9 month contract. Hybrid working option.
Working in a fast-paced working environment, the Finance Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk will provide support to the Accounts Payable Manager.
**Responsibilities**:
- Entering transactions onto the purchase ledger.
- Reconciling multiple bank accounts.
- Build and maintaining key relationships with suppliers.
- Assisting the AP Manager by providing financial information and support on an adhoc basis.
- Be able to work in a confident and professional manner.
- Have a sound understanding of basic accounting techniques and double entry bookkeeping.
- Have the ability to work productively and flexibly under pressure to meet tight deadlines, especially at month end.
- Experience of using SAP Business One good, but not essential
