Painter and Decorator

Due to an increase in workload, our client is recruiting for Painters to support them through this busy period. This is an ongoing maintenance contract in the Scottish Borders.

The role will include working on repairs and maintenance through responsive, planned and void repairs.

You will need to have the following to ensure you are suitable for this role:

- Valid CSCS card / NVQ/ SVQ/ Experienced Painter & Plasterer
- Own tools
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience working within maintenance would be advantageous.

Hours of work Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £20.00-£21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week

- Galashiels: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Painting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
