Having just been promoted from the Senior MA position, the Finance Manager is now recruiting his replacement and is keen to emphasise that hard work and perseverance will be rewarded with progression.
The role demands someone that isn't afraid to 'get stuck in', someone that is hungry to achieve, take the initiative and really show their ambition and passion for the management accounts.
You will be working within a vibrant and social group that love to get together outside of work; whether that's going to the pub or embarking on a hike, this company strives to create a brilliant team dynamic through socials both in and out of work time.
**You key responsibilities would include**:
- Preparation of month end management accounts, including P&L and Balance Sheet
- Management and ownership of month end reporting process
- Management of junior finance team
- Month end variance analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of annual budget including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
- Preparation of year end accounts
- Lead role in year-end audit
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Supplier payment processing
- Customer sales and margin analysis
- Other commercial reporting
- Other regulatory and statuary reporting
**Requirements**:
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Able to work on own initiative and manage own workload to deadlines.
- Driven individual with excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
