**The role**

**The difference our new Management Accountant will make**As a Management Accountant, you will have a role that is out of the ordinary. This role relies on being very independent and data driven, with scope that will allow for you to implement improvements to processes and in turn becoming an effective business partner.

Day to day, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs, preparation and submission of weekly cash flow forecast and also preparation of weekly KPI information and reports. Other responsibilities includemonitoring financial processes and controls, HMRC submissions including IPR / VAT & Infrastat and supporting the Shared Service Centre AP / AR processes, amongst providing ad hoc support to the Head of Finance. All completed with the main oversight for introducingcontinuous improvement initiatives for financial processes.

**Essential Experience**
- Management accounting experience (essential)
- Hold financial qualifications: ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent (or on experience)
- Manufacturing background (essential)
- Competent Excel user
- Holds / ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
