Roles & Responsibilities:
As the Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:

- Carrying out day to day operations of the anaerobic digestion plant.
- Learning how to use control systems to monitor the process.
- Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance of the plant, which will include working on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, pipework etc once trained.
- Feeding fuel into the process using mobile plant such as a telehandler.
- Responding to machine and systems failures once trained.
- General site housekeeping, keeping it clean and tidy.
- Ensuring adherence with health & safety.
- Other duties as required.

Special Requirements:

- A team player
- Willing and able to cover weekend shifts

Skills & Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

- Experience working in Anaerobic Digestion is an advantage but not essential.
- You must be able to drive a Telehandler
- Experience carrying out first line maintenance on process plant such as pumps & conveyors is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Comap systems is advantageous.
- An excellent attitude and someone who wants to learn new skills.
- Able to climb ladders with the ability to work externally in all weathers.
