**Kennel Assistant Responsibilities**
- All aspects of dog care and general duties pertaining to the care and welfare of dogs.
- Work in all weather conditions and carry out physical tasks required when dealing with any dog breed and temperament.
- Cleaning kennel areas to maintain a hygienic and presentable environment.
- Polite and clear communication with colleagues and customers - offering a high level of customer service.

**Kennel Assistant Requirements**
- A genuine interest in the professional training and care of both working and pet dogs.
- Experience and confidence with dogs of all temperaments must be demonstrated either through professional experience or with your own pet dogs.
- A driving licence is preferable due to the location.
- Although qualifications are not mandatory, experience in pet grooming, customer service, heavy lifting, kennel work, or pet sitting may be beneficial.

Working days will be five consecutive days and will include one weekend day.

Salary starts at National Minimum Wage but is likely to increase as experience and responsibilities increase.

**Salary**: From £17,888.00 per year
