**GARAGE ASSISTANT WANTED**

Kenny Waste Management is one of the largest independent waste management companies in the UK. We are looking for someone to join our team as a Garage Assistant, working in the plant workshop.

The role involves you assisting the Plant Fitters who are responsible for the repair and maintenance of various types of medium to heavy plant, such as JCBs, Liebherr's, LiuGong and CAT machines.

The range of plant includes 360 excavators, grabs, loading shovels, dumpers, telehandlers, FLTs, tracked shredders and crusher.

Examples of your duties include workshop housekeeping, greasing, washing and checking engine fluid levels. You will be based in our full equipped and spacious workshop in Salford.

HOURS: Monday to Saturday 11:00 - 21:00, including 1hr break. One Saturday off a month in line with a rota.
- Prior experience or knowledge of the waste industry is desirable
- Prior experience of working with medium-heavy plant is desirable
- You must have an interest in mechanical systems/ plant and have a willingness to learn
- You must be able to follow instruction and complete tasks and meet timeframes set, both independently and as part of a team
- You must be hardworking, reliable and flexible
