Marketing Assistant

**Introduction**

We are FootActive, one of the world’s leading distributors of orthotic and lifestyle insoles, orthotic footwear, and other holistic products. We are predominately an online shop, selling to customers all over the world via our website and amazon stores.

We are looking for a marketing assistant to join our small, but growing team, to assist the marketing manager in all day-to-day marketing activities.

**About the role**

As our marketing assistant, you will provide a helping hand on our marketing activities. General day-to-day tasks will include:

- Conducting market research and trends.
- Writing press releases.
- Arranging promotional events.
- Assessing the results of a marketing campaign.
- Helping to drive online traffic with web-related campaigns.
- Being a part of new marketing campaign ideation.
- Managing social media channels.
- Writing online content.
- Communicating with clients. Some sales calls may be required.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent range of day-to-day I.T skills.
- Not afraid to think outside the box and step outside of comfort zones.
- Ability to use range of social media channels and tools.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills.
- Effective prioritisation and time management skills.

**Previous experience**
- Experience with photoshop, and other adobe software is required.
- Experience with social media is required.
- Experience with Magento 2 / Wordpress is desired.
- Any previous marketing experience is desired.
- Any previous experience in sales is desired.

**Job type**

Part time - 21 hours per week

Work in our office in Wincanton

£11 per hour
