This is an exciting opportunity for one year fixed term to gain experience in caring for children and young people. The post holder will support and work with the Clinical Nurse Specialist, Endocrine Service to manage the care of children and young people within the obesity and Endocrinology Service. They will promote a visible and accessible service, which will include the prevention and lifestyle weight management in children and young people and advise on wider aspects of treatment management in association with the multiprofessional team.

The postholder will work alongside the Paediatric Endocrine Team to facilitate the management and engagement of children with excessive weight (aged 2-16/17 years).
The post holder will work closely with Children and Young People (CYP) to engage in their weight management journey.
