As a Test Team Lead, you are responsible for leading a team of test engineers and ensuring the successful execution of silicon characterisation projects.

**Key responsibilities**
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and guidance to members of the test team. Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promote knowledge sharing and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Test Planning and Execution: Plan and coordinate the testing activities for silicon characterization. Including defining test objectives, determining the required test equipment, developing test procedures and ensuring effective test coverage and timely execution.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse and interpret the test data generated during silicon characterisation. Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in the data and draw meaningful conclusions. Prepare comprehensive test reports summarising the test results, observations and recommendations for further improvement or optimisation.
- Test Methodology Development: Identify and develop appropriate test methodologies for silicon characterization. Oversee the design and implement test frameworks, test scripts, automation tools, and establishing test metrics and benchmarks, enabling your team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability and repeatability of the test methods.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the silicon characterization testing process. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices. Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation and efficiency improvements to enhance the overall test effectiveness and productivity.
- Ensuring quality through developing and running review processes, continuous development, and proactively driving improvements.

**Qualifications and skills**
- Experience in a test engineering or test leadership role
- Excellent problem-solving skills enabling you to analyse issues, identify root causes and devise effective solutions. Being able to think critically, make informed decisions and troubleshoot problems efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely
- Ability to assess design specifications, define test objectives, identify critical test areas, and plan test methodologies and procedures accordingly.
- B. Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or significant experience and expertise in the relevant field
- Familiarity with lab benchtop instruments and automated instrumentation
- Experience in coding, for example C++, Python, Labview
