**Job Title: Agency Children's Support Worker**
**Location: Preston**
**Salary: £11.44 per hour, £36 per sleep and £14.25 per hour for bank holidays**
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and supporting their emotional, mental, and physical development? Do you have the skills and empathy to work in a dynamic, challenging, and rewarding environment? We are looking for committed residential support workers to join our team in providing care for children and teenagers in our client’s residential care homes.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Creating and maintaining a positive environment for the children.
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to help children develop self-esteem and confidence.
- Monitoring and managing children's behaviour.
- Developing and implementing daily routines, activities, and programs.
- Communicating children's progress and needs to the appropriate team members.
- Undertaking domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
**Requirements**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work well as a part of a team.
- The ability to work under pressure and in challenging situations.
- A positive outlook and the ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- A full UK driving license and access to own vehicle is essential.
**As an agency we do not hold a licence to offer sponsorships.**
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Pay: £11.44-£14.25 per hour
