Job Introduction
As a **Catering Assistant **at Sodexo in **Doncaster Royal Infirmary**, you will help with the preparation and serving of our vibrant menu whilst ensuring all working areas are kept clean and tidy. Great customer service and a cheerful temperament is vital in this role, your interaction with patients, staff and visitors can help to alleviate some of the stress that is often associated with hospitals. **What you’ll do**:

- Assist in setup and serving and replenishing of hot and/or cold foods from counters and steamtables
- Clean and sanitise equipment and workstations
- Read recipes and/or product directions
- Breakdown stations at the end of meal periods or service
- Interacts with customers in the serving, retail, and dining areas

**What you bring**:

- Basic food-handling skills
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)

Package Description
- **Hours**: 30
- **Working**: 7.00am - 1.30pm; working 5 on, 3 off; 6 on and 2 off over a 7 week rolling rota
- **Rate of pay: £10.42 **per hour** (20% weekend pay enhancement**)
