Shotblasting Operative/Paint Shop Support

This is a permanent, full time dual shift role for an experienced Shotblaster/Paint Shop Labourer, who is required to effectively prepare our machined components in order that they can be painted/coated to meet required quality standards.

**Duties and responsibilities will include;**
- Surface preparation of products to be coated using mechanical blasting and chemical processes
- Handling high value parts in a safe and careful manner (weighing up to 7 tonnes) with the use of overhead lifting equipment
- Commitment to consistently producing a quality product including inspecting and recording accurate and auditable information.
- Adhere to strict Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and legislation.
- Previous Blasting experience
- Excellent timekeeping skills with the ability to manage your own workload
- Strong work ethic
- Enthusiasm, with the desire to learn
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

**Hours & Remuneration**:
This is a dual shift position working 39 hours per week (working one week day shift, followed by one week PM shift, recurring)

Day shift: Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00, Friday 07:00-12:00

PM shift: Monday-Thursday 16:00-02:30

£11.00 day shift rate, £16.50 PM shift rate (+ overtime paid weekly)

30 days holiday per year including Statutory Holidays
