H A EMERSON is looking for a full-time assistant butchery to join our team. This person will assist in the daily operations of the butchery and assist in other functions as needed. The store operates 7 days a week so there will be weekend work involved, this position is 40 hours a week approximately.

**Qualifications**:

- High school or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Knowledge of meat handling, trimming, and butchery techniques.
- Knowledge of the use of knives and how to properly clean them.
- Knowledge of how to properly clean and prepare carcasses prior to processing.
- Knowledge of the use of meat curing equipment such as butchers, butchers, and or curing equipment (i.e., curing guns, curing guns, etc.).
- Ability to read and understand written instructions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures, including sanitation standards for food handling areas, including but not limited to food storage areas, refrigeration areas, kitchen areas, and preparation areas.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £24,000.00 per year

- Every weekend

- Armagh, BT61 7DF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
