Kitchen Assistant

**About the job**

Your main duties will be assisting the chef in preparation, clearing up where needed and keeping the dishwasher going with some hand washing possibly required. You will get hands on experience and training to learn the dessert station with the opportunity to develop your skills to learning the main meal station. There will be online training as a requirement for all jobs with us.

**About you**

You will be passionate about great food, and delivering great service. Kitchen assistant experience preferred but not essential. You will need to be eager to learn and be able to work in a fast paced environment. You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, together with a strong customer service focus with the motivation to consistently drive high service levels. You will have an understating of HSE and EHO requirements, together with a minimum of Food Safety Level 2 certification (online training will be required for these) You will ensure that food hygiene practices are followed, and maintained to provide a safe and clean environment, without compromising on quality or availability.
