The renovation of an existing building has been completed to high specification with the latest technology and provides a beautiful modern workspace.

The Business Cyber Centre (BCC) supports the growth of start-up cyber companies and bringing new security products to the market, while providing skills development to narrow the UK cyber skills gap.

The Centre is a partnership of public, academic and industry in a centre of excellence in Chippenham (Wiltshire) focused on developing solutions for businesses of all sizes in the cyber security market. The BCC is business-led and designed to meet the cyber-security requirements of UK and international businesses. Activities and services are piloted locally, and quickly move to a regional service.

The Centre Co-ordinator will be the first point of contract for enquiries and for ensuring the visitor experience, whether people are visiting for a meeting or are regular users of the Business Cyber Centre.

**What will the Centre Co-ordinator role involve?**

The Centre Co-ordinator will undertake events and facilities duties ensuring meetings and event bookings run efficiently with high levels of customer satisfaction, co-ordinate events and provide excellent customer service proactively resolving any issues as well as liaising with external suppliers.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will have English Language and Mathematics at GCSE level 4 (Grade C) or above and have a minimum of 1 year’s experience of front of house reception, conferencing or facilities role.

It's a busy hands-on role, requiring multi-tasking and a lot of customer interaction, so you will be a confident communicator and well organised with excellent administrative skills with a knowledge and experience of co-ordinating events. You will be professional and friendly, helping all visitors to feel welcome and being proactive to resolve any issues arising to give the best experience for centre users. Ideally, you will also be experienced in dealing with audio-visual equipment and handling day to day relationships with suppliers.

Your duties will involve...

**Events and Facilities duties**:

- Coordinating meeting room and events bookings from responding to initial enquiries to setting up equipment, meeting room layouts, catering and refreshments on the day.
- Providing excellent customer service to business customers and visitors, including providing dedicated client support during events to proactively resolve any issues or queries as they arise.
- Regularly checking meeting rooms, communal areas and equipment are in good order and addressing any issues.
- Identifying and liaising with external suppliers, including caterers, cleaners, utilities and office supplies to ensure best value and service.

**Reception/admin duties**:

- Welcoming all visitors to the Cyber Centre and directing them to meeting rooms.
- Sorting incoming and dispatching outgoing post.
- Maintaining and ordering supplies, including stationery, refreshments etc
- General administrative duties, including ad hoc tasks and reports for management.

**Other Requirements**:

- Physical fitness to undertake tasks such as moving furniture/equipment and spending a significant proportion of the working day moving around the Centre.
- Have flexibility to change working hours to meet the demands of the conference facilities
- Working hours will operate in shifts between the hours of 0800-1800

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
