Axminster Weaver

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Axminster Weaver to join our team. As a Weaver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining weaving machines to produce high-quality têxtile products. This is a full-time position based in our factory.

**Duties**:

- Set up and operate weaving machines according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and quality output
- Adjust machine settings as needed to achieve desired fabric patterns and textures
- Monitor carpet for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Weaver or similar role
- Proficient in operating weaving machines and related equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to detect defects in woven carpet
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Pay: £13.14-£15.00 per hour
