Spectrum Days is a growing charity with exciting plans for the future. Are you able to help the charity grow?

Would you like to manage a fleet of 6 vehicles for Spectrum Days? This would involve working with a small team of drivers and bus escorts. We are a small charity that needs a Coordinator to oversee the transport arrangements for our members with disabilities to and from home (morning and afternoon) to our lovely centre.

The role would suit someone looking to work in a friendly environment.

Key responsibilities:

- To carry our daily and weekly vehicle checks and to carry out basic maintenance
- Check that members are securely clamped and seatbelt checks are carried out correctly
- Arrange maintenance for the fleet of vehicles and respond to reports and incidents, faults accidents and defects.
- Be responsible for the cleanliness of the inside and outside of the vehicles.
- Refuel vehicles as required.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage and centre users.
- Follow all policy and procedure and put into practice the aims of the organisation.
- Undertake any appropriate induction and training as required.
- Contribute by working flexibly within the role and the working day.
- Adhere to safeguarding and vulnerable young adults/young persons protection policy.
- Support the team by undertaking any reasonable activity that time to time arise. This may include some weekend/evening activities.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office/Word

Essential:

- Hold a clean and valid licence with D1 Category
- Capability to maintain accurate vehicle and other record

Desirable:

- Sense of humour and infinate patience.
- WCC Mini bus assessment certificate.
- WCC Bus evacuation training.
- Experience of writing risk assessments (training can be given to the right person)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50 per hour
