**Summary of the QA Officer role**

As the QA Officer, your primary responsibility will involve executing batch sentencing tasks for a designated product set, along with overseeing all quality assurance activities, such as reviews and approvals. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.

Based at our Cramlington site, you will report to the OQ Manager. Your work schedule will consist of Monday to Friday on day shift.

**Your responsibilities**
- Processing controlled intermediates and finished goods within a specified timeframe as outlined in written procedures.
- Collaborating with various departments, include Process Performance Group and Manufacturing Coordinators, to address quality-related matters and ensure effective communication.
- Reviewing and releasing of raw materials.
- Completing deviation investigations out of hours and assisting with data gathering for stakeholders within the business.
- Conducting visual inspections of plant equipment and pre-start up audits on plant.

**Requirements for the role**
- Qualifications related to this role would be beneficial (E.g., in a Chemistry or Quality related discipline).
- Must have a working knowledge of cGMP requirements and guidelines.
- Having prior experience within a pharmaceutical is essential, ideally with a specific emphasis on expertise in Active Pharma Ingredient (API) manufacturing.
- Must be an effective communicator and able to communicate at all levels.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, laboratory practices and production is necessary.
