School Cleaner

**School Cleaner - 15 hrs p/wk**:
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Walthamstow

Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Cleaner to join our Facilities Management team at a secondary school in Walthamstow. This is a permanent part-time position working 15 hours p/week from Monday to Friday, between 15:00 and 18:00.

**Key Activities**:

- Will report to the Site Manager
- To carry out all cleaning duties such as mopping of floors, damp dusting, cleaning of basins, sinks and toilet areas, etc.
- To ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the school
- Refilling of toilet rolls, hand towels and soap dispensers
- Removing rubbish to designated areas
- To be fully compliant with H&S and COSHH regulations
- Working 15 hours per week, from 15:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Previous experience of working in a cleaning role is desirable but not essential
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment essential
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- Knowledge of H&S/COSHH requirements relevant to equipment and chemicals being used
- Able to work under own initiative to meet requirements of the role
- Able to obtain DBS clearance due to working alongside children
