Sponsor Visits Officer

We are looking for a Sponsor Visits Officer to manage a personalised service for sponsors enabling them to visit their sponsored child.

Position: Sponsor Visits Officer

Location: Milton Keynes

Hours: Full-time, 36.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

**Salary**: £25,650 per annum, depending on experience good range of benefits

About the role:
As the Sponsor Visits Officer, you will delight sponsors by managing a personalised service to enable them to visit their sponsored child and share this experience of a lifetime with friends and family via their social networks, thus raising brand awareness of the organisation's work.

Key responsibilities will include:
*Design and manage the in-person and virtual Sponsor Individual Visit strategy.
*Plan and organise individual visits, liaising with the sponsor and national office.
*Manage relationships and maximise engagement of sponsors by providing a personal service and transitioning them to further involvement with the organisation.
*Ensure sponsors who visit understand the countrys culture, and how sponsorship works and go through the necessary Child Safeguarding Procedures, resulting in an excellent sponsor visit experience.
*Responsible for driving fundraising income from sponsors prior to travel/virtual experience and encouraging ongoing engagement with the organisation on their return.
*Responsible for increasing supporter satisfaction through innovative use of supporter content and blogs.

To perform well in this role, you'll need:
*Passion for the organisation's work and knowledge of its Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
*Excellent relational skills (in-person, online and through written communications) with a proven ability to influence and increase the level of financial and non-financial engagement of supporters.
*Creativity to equip sponsors in the best way so the sponsored children and communities they visit virtually are left with positive memories and the sponsors share their experiences widely.
*Ability to design and manage strategy and promote and deliver virtual visits.
*Proactive, organised, and able to work independently and share knowledge and experience to contribute to continuous improvement.
