The Priory Hospital - Altrincham is a 56 bedded hospital and is part of the Priory Group, leading provider of specialist treatment in mental health. The hospital has an established reputation for providing the highest standards of care together with an extensive range of clinical services and is a principle provider to the NHS in the north of England, focussing on positive holistic outcomes through full service provision
The main purpose of this role is to process all patient related paperwork and administration, as well as using a variety of internal systems to ensure that all necessary funding is in place for the duration of the individual’s care.
The role holder handles all external and internal admissions enquiries, directing queries as appropriate and will update update patient details within Priory database systems, ensuring a high level of accuracy of all data input.
The role holder must possess excellent communication skills as they will liaise with key unit personnel, external organisations and patients and their relatives regarding admissions' enquires.
The role holder will also ensure the integrity, probity and reasonableness of local financial controls in respect of the admissions processes, in order to minimise financial risk via the correct implantation of local procedures.
