Carpentry Supervisor

Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting a Carpentry Supervisor (Maintenance and Repairs) for a permanent role.

Our client is a well-established, leading Social Housing Contractor and due to continued growth, is expanding its carpentry maintenance and repairs team. The business has continued to flourish over recent years and this new role is a great chance to be part of its exciting future.

**The Role**:
Manage the performance of operatives and contractors to deliver contract objectives.

Take ownership of company, client and contract processes.

Assist the Contracts Manager in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance activity.

To assist the Contracts Manager in their duties as necessary.

**Responsibilities**:
Ensure the Health, Safety and welfare of staff and third parties through monthly toolbox talks and regular safety training.

Drive productivity, provide support and technical input to the management of staff and contractors.

Monitor completed works daily and conduct a daily review of planning for future repairs/maintenance and planned works.

Ensure that a high quality of service is delivered to clients and residents.

Manage the performance of individuals.

Support the Contracts Manager in meeting the contracts, sales, margin and cost targets on a job-by-job basis.

**Essential**:
Previous Social Housing experience

Full Driving Licence (Company van is provided for this role)

**Salary**: £25.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Barnet, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
