Would you make a great trustee for our charity?
We are now recruiting new trustees for Autism Together and need individuals who could help make a genuine difference to the lives of the people we support.
We're looking for someone with enthusiasm and a fresh outlook, who can bring their life and work experiences to the heart of our unique and forward-thinking charity.
While this is a voluntary position, getting involved as a charity trustee is a great way to put your professional skills to use, and can be a fantastic opportunity to add to your CV by gaining insight into charity management and working within a senior leadership role.
Successful applicants will be joining the board of one of the UK’s leading specialist service providers, a charitable organisation which directly supports over 400 people on the autism spectrum. Founded in Wirral in 1968, Autism Together now employs over 1,000 staff across its operations in Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales.
This is a complex, stimulating, award-winning organisation with an annual turnover of over £21m and a substantial property portfolio. The charity provides residential care, supported living, day services, and community outreach for adults with autism, alongside a range of support for young people and their families.
Our trustees contribute significantly to the strategic planning and direction of Autism Together and so we are looking for people with a variety of skills, knowledge and experience.
