Tudor Employment are recruiting a Bodyshop VDA Estimator on behalf of our client, based in Aldridge, WS9. The client is a fourth generation, family-owned Accident Repair Centre who pride themselves on being open, honest, and fair with clients and colleagues alike. The successful applicant will share these values.

As a Bodyshop Estimator you will provide a courteous and efficient estimating and reception service for the Bodyshop. You will be responsible for upselling and smart repairs and any other upsell opportunities from our other products and services, working alongside the Customer Service Advisor at front of house, liaising with insurance companies and their engineers where appropriate.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Are you the right person for this role? The desired Bodyshop Estimator will:

- Have worked in insurance, vehicle repairs or a car dealership previously
- Be able to reliably commute to the site location in Aldridge
- Possess a full, clean UK driving license
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Develop good rapport and trust with customers and insurance companies
- Demonstrate a self-motivated attitude
- Have strong administrative skills including computer literacy
- Previous shopfloor experience in a similar role with an Audatex accreditation

What will I be doing? Duties of the Bodyshop Estimator will include:

- To upsell products and services as appropriate
- To be responsible for SMART repairs
- To record accurate lists of damages and images
- Provide proportionate estimates of repair costs
- Use of Audex system to negotiate costs and method
- Use of Autoflow system
- Make internal communication with customers
- Evaluate accident circumstances and damage
- Match completed jobs in an accurate and timely manner
- Completion of associated administration

What are the hours of work?

This is a full-time vacancy, working in Aldridge, Walsall. This is a permanent role working Monday - Friday, 8:00AM-5:30PM.

What is the rate of pay?

The Bodyshop Estimator will be paid at a rate of £36,000 per annum including a monthly bonus.
