We have positions available for enthusiastic and hard-working individuals who are safety conscious and used to working in a fast-paced environment where quality is key. The role of inspector operator will have dual responsibilities for production of product as well as monitoring in-process product and final inspection as detailed within Quality Inspection Plans and Plating production packs.

8 hour shifts working 7am-3pm/3pm-11pm/11pm-7am rotationally

**Role Responsibilities**
- Will effectively carry out the reel-to-reel electroplating process on various lines in accordance to customer specifications and good quality standards.
- In-process/ Process final inspection using general inspection equipment i.e. micrometers, verniers, shadowgraphs and XRF
- Maintain traceability by keeping up to date records of production and inspection
- Contribute to team delivery of targets and goals within the department.
- Support a climate of Continuous improvement and 5S to assist in productivity; quality; health, safety and environment.
- Use plating and inspection product pacts to ensure product is within specifications and tolerance of customers’ requirements.
- Ensuring documentation being used is at the correct revision level
- Ensuring that all gauging and measurement equipment being used is current with regard to calibration requirements
- Understand the principles of COSHH controlled substances
- Any other reasonable requests
- Basic proficiency with hand tools desirable (allen keys/spanners/screw drivers)
- Experience in electroplating desirable but not essential
- High level of attention to detail and documentation.
- Basic PC working knowledge

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.45-£17.51 per hour
