Finance Business Partner (Maternity Cover, 6 months)

Standish, Wigan

Hybrid Working

Ainscough Crane Hire is looking for a Finance Business Partner to cover maternity leave starting ASAP for 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide commercial insight and analysis of results, identifying underlying trends and challenging the business on performance
- Hold periodic reviews with the budget holders for the North regions going through actions plans and performance to improve business profitability
- Attend the monthly Area review meeting adding insight and support. Taking minutes for the action log for the North Region.
- Provider insight and support (including posting to the ledger) for direct wages across the Ainscough business.
- Manage the rolling quarterly forecast process for the three regions in the North
- Prepare detailed budgets for the Northern Region of the business and provide details for the rest of the business on wages and direct heads
- Support the strategic planning and strategic initiatives of the company, including acquisitions and major asset purchases, by providing financial planning and modelling skills
- Prepare periodic balance sheet reconciliations for the business.
- Ensure integrity of financial data supplied by financial accounting team to other areas of the business and to external stakeholder
- Graduate or equivalent and CIMA /ACCA qualified
- Previous experience in a management accounts / business parenting / FP&A in a multisite business
- Experience in building relationships with key stakeholders
- Evidence of achievement in a changing work environment
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- IT literate with strong excel, PowerPoint and Word skills

- Team player with evidence of collaborative skills building relationships outside of Finance and liaising with other departments such Operations, Sales, HR, and QHSE
- Ability to juggle a large workload and multiple priorities and to work at pace
- Ability to evidence tasks completion within project timescales and project management skills
- Demonstrates attention to detail and a drive to produce useful, well considered output
- Goal oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines
- Strong commercial focus with the ability to understand business strategy, identify and interpret financial trends
- Excellent modelling, analytical and data handling skills
- Demonstrable commercial acumen
- Advanced excel skills relevant to the interpretation and manipulation of detailed financial information, and presentation to internal and external interests.
