The Local Highways team is a service providing vital operations including repairing roads, keeping the streets safe and weather emergencies. The team has an opportunity for a Highway Technician to carry out the statutory and safety functions of the service.

This is an interesting and varied role involving inspecting and monitoring the condition of the highway to ensure that it is maintained to the statutory standard and provide the necessary documentation to protect the council from claims.

**Salary**: £29,269.00-£31,364.00 per year
