Planner (Gas Mains Replacement)

We are looking for an experienced Utilities Planner to join our team based out of Erith.

**Job Purpose**

Accountable to the Senior Plans Manager for the delivery of LS Ops Planning and specifically the development of the SGN LS contracted Tier One and Day Works requirement into a costed, resourced and deliverable operational plan for timely and cost-effective execution at the tactical level by the Tier one delivery teams.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Supervision and direction of the LS Ops Planning department and its personnel.

2. Ownership of the LS Operational Plan, and associated planning tools and process.

3. Point of contact with Operations for T1 delivery to ensure situational awareness and reduce reactive activity

4. PULSE utilisation for JDT planning capability for a single planning/resource & forecasting tool, ensuring Plans department timely data input to ensure full sight of T1 activity.

5. Coordination with SGN to identify, agree and refine the contracted requirement, and inform SGN of project feasibility, planning progress and including early warning of potential planning / delivery issues.

6. Attendance of internal, client and local authority planning, and coordination meetings as required.

7. Coordination with JDT Engineering delivery team to ensure robust planning and management of project delivery.

8. Coordination with external agencies (e.g. SGN, councils etc), during planning and project delivery for permissions and permits.

9. Production of associated Traffic Management plans and associated resourcing - oversee.

10. Raising PO numbers as per SOP 802 to ensure delivery of T1 projects

11. Chair the weekly planning coordination meetings.

12. Assist in the production and delivery of SGN Performance Reviews

13. Adhere to company policies and procedures

**Essential Requirements**

NRSWA - Street works

Relevant Utility Sector Experience

Gas Planning Experience

**Desirable Requirements**

Gas Utility planning experience (5yrs)

Pulse Training (internal)

Hours of Work - 45hrs per week (Mon-Fri)
