Machine Cleaner

Newstaff Employment Services Flitwick are working in partnership with a global organisation of manufacturing plastic caps and closures for a packaging industry.

The business employs over 200 people on a multiple shift operation supplying major blue-chip customers from 3 modern well equipped factories using high speed automated production techniques.

We are looking for a Machine Cleaner

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Cleaning machines
- Ensure good standard of housekeeping.
- Monitoring and cleaning of hopper loader filters on blenders and moulding machines
- Monitoring and updating of housekeeping sheets
- Reporting of damage/ware on machines
- Floor cleaning and general cleaning in and around shop floor area

**Requirements of the Production Operative**:

- Attention to detail.
- Hard working
- Fit and healthy
- Own safety boots
- Relevant experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of maintenance systems
- Ideally worked as a Machine Cleaner before

**Shift and Hours**:

- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
- 8am to 9am paying £12.94 an hour.
- 9am to 5pm paying £9.73 an hour.
