**What you’ll do**:
As a procurement officer for SUEZ you will be a part of a small team supporting the Category Manager and UK Head of Procurement playing a pivotal role in our supply chain management. You will be responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services on a national scale.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Independently manage procurement processes, demonstrating a proactive approach to achieving objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stake holders, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements ensuring the most favourable terms for SUEZ.
- Implementing a "cradle to grave" mindset, carrying out competitive tenders from conception to award, and collaborating with the legal team to ensure business contract compliance.
- Ensure compliance SUEZ procurement policies and procedures.
**Salary**: £36,407 - £42,707 + 10% annual bonus + car allowance.
**Location**:Weston-Super-Mare or surrounding areas.
**Working hours**: 37.5 per week
**What you’ll need to apply**:
**Essential**:
- Full UK drivers’ licence with a degree of flexibility to travel to different sites across the UK.
- Demonstrate procurement experience and ability to manage own categories.
- Ability to work independently using own initiative and be able to communicate at all levels within the business.
- Strong IT skills.
- CIPS qualified or working towards.
**Desirable but not essential**:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a procurement role.
